Catherine (nee Hardman) and John Vercoe are my G G GRandparents.John Thomas Vercoe was born in Padstow in 1860, his parents William and Phillipa Vercoe are buried at Shortland Cemetery, Thames.John and Catherine lived in Thames for many years following their marriage in 1881. Their daughter Ethel May Vercoe, my Great Grandmother married George Ludwig 1905 at Hill Street, Thames. A wide extended family of Vercoes' all lived in Thames.
